About the role
Deliver accurate and timely laboratory testing to support quality patient care.
Maintain high standards by monitoring quality control and ensuring compliance with safety and quality systems.
Keep lab equipment and supplies ready and functioning to avoid disruptions.
Communicate critical results promptly to clinicians and teams, ensuring swift action.
Collaborate, train, and grow within a dynamic team committed to professional development and excellence.
About you
Demonstrates personal integrity and a strong alignment with the values and mission of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent), with relevant coursework in haematology and immunology.
Recent, practical experience in Haematology, Haemostasis, and Transfusion Medicine, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality diagnostic services.
Strong proficiency in laboratory IT systems and actively engages in continuing professional development to stay current with industry standards.
Contribute effectively within both autonomous and team-based settings, communicates clearly, and able to support a 24/7 rotational roster to ensure consistent and high quality service delivery.
