Job Description

Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Scheduler to join our team, supporting a large project at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The Project Scheduler will work in a large PMO, performing tasks such as developing an integrated master schedule (IMS) and maintaining the IMS so it accurately tracks status/progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Project Scheduler in a large PMO, developing a schedule, updating tasks, and identifying dependencies.
  • Develop schedule related deliverables for executive presentations such as a timeline or a roadmap
  • Synchronize schedule with government schedule
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced PMO environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in project management.
  • Previous federal contracting experience
  • Experience in project management
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Proficiency with MS Project

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Expertise in Healthcare Technology Management (HTM), asset management, or facilities management.
  • Experience with asset management processes and systems.

Eligibility:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.

Compensation:

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The proposed salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000.
