Join our team! As a Manager in the Digital Solutions organization in the FindLaw group, one ensures high-quality execution of projects through leadership skills, effective team management, and cross-functional collaboration.

This Manager will work closely with other leadership both within Digital Solutions and in conjunction with other business units in Thomson Reuters to implement consistent standards for Spanish and English content, website design, and digital marketing to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the customer lifecycle.

About the Role  

In this opportunity as a Manager, Digital Solutions you will:  

  • Defines and leads overall testing requirements and strategies ensuring software/websites fully meet business and operational system requirements.
  • May provide technical support to customer or operations teams.
  • Gives advice to team leads on functional matters, or on the interpretation of policies and practices.
  • Leads and manages the day-to-day activities of team leads including supporting career development of team (objective setting, performance management, talent management, etc.).
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of one or more global team.
  • Participates during interviews solicits feedback, and selects team lead roles.
  • Leads performance and talent management for team.
  • Creates job descriptions for team.
  • Make employment decisions and salary recommendations as appropriate.
  • Defines short-term and long-term solution options, including risk assessments, and recommendations to business and technology leadership.
  • Drives and implements recommended solutions and follows up with business leaders and/or customers to ensure expectations are met.
  • Accountable for immediate response to problems and sets expectations and timeframe for resolution with customers or groups managing customers.
  • Accountable for planning work assigned to their team, including work breakdown, accurate estimate and identification of possible solution options that meets the business needs.
  • Develops milestones and dependencies for realistic estimates required for own work, and checks and agrees other team members' estimates.
  • Determines if recommended projects should be implemented as a viable/appropriate business solution based on available resources.
  • Provides timely status updates for areas of team responsibilities within projects potentially including senior leaders, initiating escalation when necessary.
  • Facilitates discussions to identify and communicate issues.
  • Encourages two-way communication with staff, peers, and business partners.
  • May contribute to, create, or execute communication plan.
  • Effectively presents information for discussion, such as project status and issues across various diverse audiences, including, higher levels within the business.
  • Ensures self and team create website development best practices while adhering to team and industry coding standards, and corporate policies.

About You

You’re a fit for the role if your background includes:

  • 3 + years experience in leading a cross-functional team, preferably content, design, and digital marketing.
  • 1-2 + years of people management experience or mentoring/coaching experience.
  • 1-2 + years experience in managing external vendor/supplier relationships.
  • Spanish and English understanding of digital marketing, content, website design, and social media concepts, channels, and KPIs.
  • Demonstrated leadership and employee development skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
  • Innovative mindset with a focus on driving change
  • Highly organized with a project management mindset.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills using multiple channels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage challenging client issues.
  • Works well in a team environment, embraces change, and is highly adaptable.
