YOUR NEW ROLE

• DevOps SME - be an expert at a range of technologies used in modern DevOps practice, including cloud assets management on AWS, CI/CD with Jenkins and similar pipelines and workflows tools, etc.
• Develop and advance the Domain Engineering team's DevOps capability
• Work with complexity and ambiguity in a dynamic and continuously changing environment
• Ensuring that systems are developed within agreed budgets and time frames and achieving necessary design and systems security standards
• Stay abreast of new technology trends and constantly try to generate new solutions
• Providing technical mentoring and guidance to less experienced peers and team members
• Create innovative (and simple) DevOps solutions to business problems and technical issues as they arise

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Good experience building docker images and managing containers.
• Thorough knowledge of Jenkins or other similar CI/CD tools. Experience creating CI/CD Pipelines.
• Strong AWS skills with good experience in ECS, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Redis, DynamoDB
• Good experience with Cloud Monitoring tools – CloudWatch, CloudTrail
• Exposure to monitoring tools – AppDynamics, TICK, Prometheus, Nagios
• Experience using Splunk
• Good programming skills and experience with languages Python, JAVA, Groovy, etc. is an advantage
• Good understanding of SSL Certificates and Certificate Management
• Strong Ansible skills.  Exposure to other Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform is an advantage
