Job Description​

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s East Hospital is seeking an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to join our Radiology team. Primary function is to perform procedures, coordinate workflow and serve as primary resource for daily operations. Acts as mentor to new, less experienced technologists. Assists with scheduling call and routine coverages. Is liaison between radiologists, management and staff for daily exam protocol issues. Responsible for periodic QA performance and reporting. Organize and oversee reaccreditation packets. Maintains competency checks for team. Assists leadership with ongoing medical supplies utilization. Covers supervisory obligations as needed. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, performing CT scan procedures to assist in direct patient care. Shift Details: Full time days; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 7:00am-5:30pm

Required:

• ARRT required

• BLS required

• CT boards preferred - will be required within 6 months of hire

The Work:

• Performs CT studies with or without contrast                                              

• Insertion of IVs as needed for contrast injection     

• Primary resource for daily operations

Applicable Experience:

3-5 years

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Computed Tomography (ARRT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
