Job Description Summary

GE Vernova is on a mission to electrify and decarbonize the world. The Wind Blade Systems Integration & Engineering Manager sits at the center of that mission — leading the team responsible for delivering wind blade designs that are safe, reliable, and cost-competitive at global scale.
This role sits at the intersection of technical design and program execution. You will own the full lifecycle of wind blade subsystem integration, driving alignment across design, sourcing, manufacturing, and fleet performance..
This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on GE Vernova's wind energy portfolio and an opportunity to shape next-generation blade technology at scale.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Safety Leadership Champion a zero-incident safety culture within the engineering team and across all laboratory, manufacturing, and field activities. Model and reinforce GE Vernova's commitment to personnel and product safety at every level of the organization.

2. Strategic Leadership Prioritize team resources using the SQDC framework (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) to ensure mission-critical outcomes across new product introduction, sustaining engineering, and fleet support programs.

3. Program Ownership Lead Wind Blade Subsystem program management, maintaining a high "Say-Do" ratio on critical deliverables. Manage complex, multi-site project schedules and ensure cross-functional accountability across geographically distributed teams.

4. Requirements Management & Flow Down Own blade component requirements, ensuring rigorous flow down from system-level architecture to functional blade design teams. Manage requirements traceability and validation throughout the product lifecycle.

5. Roadmap Development Own the Multi-Generation Technology and Product Plan (MGTP) for wind blades — a structured roadmap that aligns technical innovation with business objectives across multiple product generations and market segments.

6. Customer & Stakeholder Liaison Serve as the primary technical face of the Wind Blade team for key customer interactions. Communicate complex design trade-offs, validation progress, and root cause analyses to both internal and external stakeholders with clarity and confidence.

7. Risk & Validation Define and execute the blade validation strategy. Evaluate and approve critical technical decisions backed by analysis, testing, manufacturing data, and fleet experience. Proactively identify and mitigate program and technical risks before they impact delivery or quality.

8. Operational Excellence Lead daily management rituals, resolve cross-functional bottlenecks, and address field quality issues with urgency and technical rigor. Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the team.

9. Global Team Leadership & Talent Development Build, coach, and retain a high-performing engineering team across Greenville and Bangalore. Foster a culture of empowerment, psychological safety, and continuous learning, with particular emphasis on developing early-career engineers and building deep domain expertise within the team. Lead effectively across time zones and cultural contexts.
