Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Develops marketing and campaign strategies specifically for social media. Directs implementation of Student Affairs social media accounts. Participates in the development of annual posting plan, including success metrics and engagement reporting.
Provides high level planning and programming support for a wide variety of platforms and applications including, but not limited to, digital signage, printed marketing collateral, and social media collateral.
Enhances the storytelling and brand awareness of the Division of Student Affairs through the creation of compelling content, with an emphasis on Student Affairs anchors and student stories.
Social Media Counsel
Provides effective and respected social media counsel to senior leadership and department personnel.
Keeps abreast of social media/digital best practices and provides benchmarks and analyzes data from social media and mobile initiatives to inform future communications planning and other decision-making within the division.
Supports and participates in collaborative efforts for the department, including various committees or special initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
