The IT Project Manager will oversee the project delivery teams to ensure IT projects are completed on time. This individual will ensure compliance with the project requirements.  The project manager will communicate with stakeholders during all phases and be able to deliver within the specified time frame and budget. Responsibilities will include coordinating project team members and schedule development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development team(s) to execute assigned Agile project(s) supporting the digital capability (DC) objectives of their Business Unit group/function, delivering value faster, in an incremental fashion.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology, Scrum ceremonies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Identify dependencies, evaluate risks, and communicate status to appropriate levels of management and stakeholders across assigned project(s).
  • Monitor and control schedule, capacity of their assigned project(s) & JIRA boards to and provide actionable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Proactively remove obstacles to drive assigned projects’ momentum and progress.
  • Plan and engage necessary resources across the development teams to ensure successful completion of assigned project(s)
  • Prepares all project status reports and documentation to keep project team and management informed of project progress and potential risks/roadblocks so they can take appropriate action.
  • Actively engage stakeholders of problem project(s) to assist with identifying corrective actions.
  • Advise and consistently apply Project Management best practices (including Agile, SDLC and PMF) and tools.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Requires significant knowledge of the principles and concepts of a discipline typically gained through a university degree and 2-4 years of experience or HS diploma/technical school and PMP certification, Agile certification a plus, and 4 years of experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office products (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence for the management of Agile projects.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Responsible for supporting Functional team members and performing basic tasks with some oversight​.
  • Collaborates and works with stakeholders to meet requests and timelines.​
  • Explains own work clearly and explains any independent judgment well.​
  • Demonstrates openness to learning and developing. Takes responsibility for their own development and growth.​
  • Understands the team's performance and how their work may impact the team’s goal.​
