What You’ll Do:
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Develop and manage strategic product roadmaps for Livewell, Refine, and Restore, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market trends.
- Lead annual and quarterly refreshes of product portfolio strategies, incorporating customer insights, competitive intelligence, and stakeholder feedback.
- Identify and assess new opportunities (clinical technology, partnerships, features) and oversee the product development process to ensure ROI and value creation.
Product Development & Launch
- Own the end-to-end product development lifecycle, including business case creation, financial modeling, resource planning, and operationalization for new products and enhancements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Clinical) to deliver successful product launches and ongoing improvements.
- Ensure all launches are supported by robust go-to-market plans, training, and stakeholder engagement.
Client Experience & Engagement
- Deeply understand client segments, needs, and behaviors through data analysis, surveys, and direct engagement with front-line teams.
- Continuously evolve the client journey, partnering with Operations to identify new opportunities for engagement, retention, and satisfaction across all service lines.
Performance Management & Reporting
- Analyze financial, operational, and sales/marketing performance to identify opportunities for growth, profitability, and improved client outcomes.
- Lead monthly and quarterly product portfolio performance reviews, including CSAT and competitor reports, and present findings.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to inform product strategy, pricing, and positioning.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in health, wellness, and primary care through independent research, industry events, and networking.
Pricing & Commercial Strategy
- Develop and evaluate pricing strategies in partnership with Finance & Analytics, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure cohesive market positioning and messaging for all products and services.
Operational Excellence & Collaboration
- Foster cross-functional alignment and healthy tension between business owners and operations leads to balance growth and operational priorities.
- Support local marketing initiatives and event participation, leveraging campaign codes and best practices to track ROI and drive new client acquisition.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements, including digital adoption, workflow management, and service level alignment across teams.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in product or brand management, healthcare, management consulting, or a related area.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver results independently and collaboratively.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and skilled at collaborative problem-solving.
- Adaptability to shifting business priorities and evolving organizational structures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
This is a full-time, hybrid role (three days in office), primarily scheduled during business hours Monday through Friday.
Position Pay Range
$73,699.00 - $101,335.00 CAD annually
Pay will be determined based on an analysis of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications within the role's compensation grade. Medcan's compensation ranges are determined by a combination of required qualifications and skills, market value, and internal equity. The above range pertains solely to the base compensation and is not inclusive of additional compensation details such as perks, benefits, and potential bonuses or incentives.
