How you’ll make an impact
You will assist senior program and project management in managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk for JIEMS and other Network Control projects with a focus on JIEMS schedule coordination internally and with external partners.
You will be assigned, own and lead the delivery of self-contained projects from initiation to closure and support stakeholder engagement, including preparation for client meetings and internal reviews.
You will manage project documentation, including scheduling processes and procedures, compliance registers, and reporting packages.
You will prepare detailed project reports for internal and external stakeholders, schedule progress reports and milestone tracking, maintain document control systems in alignment with QMS and contractual requirements.
You will identify opportunities for process optimization within project workflows and promote the best practices and lessons learned across project teams.
You will handle scheduling, resource coordination, and meeting logistics, support onboarding and training of new project team members.
You will liaise with HR and procurement for staffing and contract transitions, will comply with policies, practices, and procedures about technical tasks, customers, and stakeholders.
You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
You hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Power Systems Engineering or similar.
Minimum 3 years of Project Management related experience in the implementation and maintenance of complex software and or engineering projects.
Experience within asset-intensive industries; specifically, utilities, transportation, and public infrastructure preferable.
Formal project management certification, e.g. PMI PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management scheduling tools.
Native level Japanese and 5+ years working in Japanese companies dealing directly with customers and or end-users.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with Japanese business practices and documentation standards.
