Job Description:

1st and 2nd shifts available

Must be able to work Sundays

$20 an hour paid weekly, plus $1 shift premium for 2nd shift!

Position Summary:

This role is responsible to complete orders by selecting products from the warehouse racks and to assemble, palletize and/or shrink wrap products/pallets for customer orders. An Order Selector may be required to use a variety of powered industrial equipment and may be required to work in dry or cooled product areas including refrigerated and freezer compartments.

What you’ll do:

  • Locate and lift cases, boxes, bags, and/or pallets of dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy products, produce, poultry, fish, beef, pork and related products in specific quantities for delivery to customers by using order sheets or an audio headset.

  • For your safety, you must be able to frequently lift products weighing between 30-60 lbs. without assistance, and 75lbs or more occasionally. This includes bending, twisting, and kneeling to reach product

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Report damaged products as well as quality issues and notify supervisor of out-of-stock or low volume product(s)

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Must be able to follow verbal (oral) and written instructions

  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and other material handling/industrial equipment.

  • A positive can-do attitude!

  • Must frequently sit, walk and stand; use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools, or controls; and use both feet for repetitive movements as in operating foot controls.

  • Must frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with hands and arms.

  • Must be able to step up and down on power equipment repetitively.

  • Must be able to hear and see within normal range with or without corrective devices.

  • Must lift products weighing between 30-60 lbs. frequently; ability to lift products weighing 75 lbs. or more occasionally as product weight varies by assignment, distribution center products, etc.

While performing the duties of this position, employees are subject to a warehouse environment and may frequently be exposed to changes in temperature and humidity based on assignment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-12 hours shift as assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
