Motion Graphics Designer needed

If you answered “yes” to any or all these questions, you may be a good fit for the Motion Graphics Designer at Boncom. We are looking for a motion designer who has a variety of experiences that would make them great at jumping in to create any type of animation project. You are a good fit if you enjoy exploring new styles and techniques and continuing to learn on the job.

Motion Graphics Job Responsibilities:

• Craft stunning explainers, gifs, display ads, social posts, commercials, and more for Boncom's clients

• Animate illustrations and designs primarily in Adobe After Effects

• Develop visual concepts to communicate ideas

• Storyboard visual concepts

• Design and illustrate artwork for animations

• Create animatics

• Animate characters

• Animate typography

• Collaboration with third-party contractors on animation projects; both pre- and post-production

Minimum Qualifications:

• An equivalent combination of formal education combined with a minimum of 6-8 years Motion Graphics experience. We encourage applications from candidates with a solid portfolio and extensive work experience. See below for required experience

  • Illustration experience

  • Cinema 4D experience

  • Procreate, Adobe Animate, or any hand-drawn experience

• A website, reel, or Bēhance page with a minimum of 8-10 samples of previous animation projects

• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud products especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects

• Familiarity with working with outside vendors and contractors for sound design and music creation

• Demonstrated leadership qualities, able to direct a team.

• Keen organizational and communication skills

• Willingness to be a team player, accepting and implementing feedback from both team members and clients

Nice to have qualifications:

• Experience Java Script and Coding within After Effects

• Experience with Blender 3D and/or other 3D software applications

• Experience with Sora AI Generator or other video generator AI image or video platforms
