Job purpose:

As Director, HR Business Partner Quality – Manufacturing you,

  • partner with the Quality Leadership Team and their teams to effectively execute the people plan, leveraging local context and expertise by delivering HR services in line with our HR service delivery model

  • support the Quality department to drive business change through talent, leadership, culture, and capability

  • report into the HR Business Partner for Vaccines Industrial Operations & Quality.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Be a trusted and agile HR partner to leaders to drive the Vaccines people agenda and deliver against IPTc priorities (Innovation Performance and Trust to the power of Culture), holding a strong understanding of the Vaccines business

  • Hold an excellent understanding of our HR model to coach and develop line managers to deliver business priorities supported by local policies, processes, and new ways of working

  • Develop pragmatic solutions to address complex local business issues and leveraging wider the HR Resources to support delivery

  • Diagnose and / or deliver change projects in line with the HR agenda

  • Coach leaders to increase diversity through recruitment and talent management

  • Utilise digital, data and analytics tools and processes to gain forward looking insights to diagnose issues and inform execution of the people strategy

  • Be an Inclusion and Diversity Champion and a point of reference for our site.

About You:

This role would suit a driven and motivated individual who has experience in delivering complex HR operational solutions and strategies.  You will be a degree-qualified HR Professional with a proven ability to deliver.  It is crucial you have an ability to bring various teams together to achieve common goals and that you can navigate competing priorities to find solutions with your colleagues (at pace).

We are seeking a strong people-person, capable of empowering and developing team-members and colleagues, as well as improving knowledge and capability across the site when it comes to HR best practice.  You will be a member of the site’s leadership team so proven culture development is important, as is your ability to build successful networks across the business (which cover other senior leaders, as well as colleagues at all levels).  You will also be resilient and calm under pressure.  Strong interpersonal and influencing skills are considered essential to the role.  You will also have a strong continuous improvement approach.

Basic qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • You hold a Master’s degree in HR or equivalent qualifications in HR related disciplines

  • You demonstrate proven experience in

a. delivering complex HR operational solutions

b. managing populations of 300+ employees (blue/white collars and exempts)

c. a pharma manufacturing or highly regulated manufacturing environment at a local and regional level

d. Employee Relations and Unions engagement in the context of large and complex business transformation

e. delivering interventions across a range of HR activities including leadership development, talent management, executive coaching, building high performing teams, capability builds, performance management, etc.

f. translating business objectives into innovative solutions

  • You negotiate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisations

  • You act as a change champion

  • Fluency in French written and spoken (must have), with a good command of English.

Preferred qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Exposure to a pharma manufacturing environment at a global level

  • Experience in delivering complex HR strategies (business transformations, OD, etc.)

  • Ability to act as an internal HR consultant i.e. diagnosis, coaching, workshops and training facilitation, etc.

  • You are a people person able to balance performance with a human approach

  • You are a DE&I Ally

  • Communication and interpersonal skills

  • High level of ethics and integrity.
