Job Summary:
The Financial Planning & Analysis Entry Analyst will support the FP&A team with data gathering, financial reporting, and basic analysis. Your role includes assisting in the budgeting and forecasting process, maintaining financial models, and helping to interpret financial results. You will collaborate with senior analysts to provide the data needed for strategic decision making.
Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis:
• Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
• Analyze financial data and create reports to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior management and other stakeholders
Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasts
• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to identify areas for cost savings or revenue growth
• Collaborate with department managers to gather input and ensure accuracy of budget and forecast data
Data Management:
• Maintain and update financial databases and systems
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data by performing regular audits and reconciliations
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline data management and reporting processes
Financial Reporting:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Provide insightful commentary and analysis on financial results
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and compliance reports
Cross functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with various departments to gather and analyze financial information and provide support for decision making
• Collaborate with accounting and other finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Develop strong working relationships with cross functional teams to facilitate information sharing and efficient workflow
Ad Hoc Projects:
• Support ad hoc financial projects as assigned by senior management
• Conduct research and analysis to provide insights and recommendations for business initiatives
• Assist in the implementation of new financial processes and systems.

Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Practical understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and basic financial analysis.
• Ability to understand and explain complex information clearly.
• Ability to meticulously document and track project details and changes.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with various project teams and stakeholders.
