The RCM Team Lead of Cash Posting is responsible for supervising the day-to-day functions of the cash posting team while ensuring RCM clients deposits and payments are posted accurately, timely and following RCM policies and procedures.  The ideal candidate has hands-on Brightree experience posting payments along with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams. 

This is a remote, US based role.

Let's talk about Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, communication, and motivation, while supervising the day-to-day functions of the Cash Posting team.
  • Responsible for training and monitoring productivity of Revenue Cycle procedures to ensure tasks are completed within SLA.
  • Oversee performance management and development of team members; coaching staff and assuring output levels are achieved with minimal errors.
  • Implement and ensure adherence to government and state regulations and policies.
  • Update Department SOPs, ensuring compliance, best practices, proper format, and appropriate links before publishing. 
  • Prepare and submit reports to stakeholders as needed.
  • Manages cases and ensures timely and accurate responses to the client and/or functional departments and leaders.
  • Conduct onboarding calls and training with clients to improve the understanding of posting processes and assures provider guides ae updated appropriately.
  • Attend global department calls and provide education, training, and updates as necessary.
  • Manage escalations and communicate directly with customer executives, directors, and management staff.
  • Communicates with Director of RCM to strategize, review client issues and process improvement areas.

Let's talk about Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; however, will consider minimum of 2 years’ experience related to health care revenue cycle management, preferably in the HME/DME industry.
  • Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams in the day-to-day functions of billing, collections, or cash posting.
  • Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Databases and Insurance Websites.
  • Understand general rules, guidelines, and methods for payor payments. 
  • Previous experience with insurance remittance posting payments, denials and correspondence.
  • Experience using the following applications/software: Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and Salesforce. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills focused on identifying and implementing solutions for customers.
  • Effective communication skills with strong oral, written, and persuasive abilities to work with people at all levels in the organization.
  • Strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity. 
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask within multiple client databases. 
  • Quick learner, pleasant, and dedicated to providing a positive customer experience. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with minimal supervision.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is:  $50,000 - $62,000

For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
