What you'll do:

As the Funding Team Lead you'll supervise and manage the daily pipeline of loan assigned to the team. You'll provide guidance to staff to assist with expectations, pipeline reviews, and communicate frequently with Loan Processing and Underwriting departments as well as with the Sales team.
  • Assist funding manager regarding the monitoring various pipelines with special attention to lock expiration, CDs/COCs due, PCCDs due, Escrow disbursement. Communication to treasury regarding funding’s and federal ref numbers.
  • Maintain feedback for monthly title calls.
  • Maintain a pipeline of 50% of a funder/closer and handle all duties required.
  • Lead and develop a team; responsible for assisting with training and development.

What you'll need:

  • 8+ years of related experience in Retail Residential Mortgage Closing/Funding or similar field.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending; including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Advanced retail residential closing/funding experience. Conventional and Government loan experience. Thorough knowledge of TRID and RESPA LE/CD requirements.
  • Advanced experience with Encompass.
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
