As a Customer Service Representative, you will 

  • Customer Interaction and Problem-Solving: Act as the first point of contact for both internal and external customers of International Diesel Service (IDS), managing inquiries, resolving issues, and supporting sales with professionalism and efficiency. Handle complaints, requests, and questions, ensuring they are logged, addressed, and resolved promptly and effectively. Leverage your proficiency in local languages and cultural understanding to provide translation and support for related matters. 

  • Service Improvement and Customer Education: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance services by gathering and acting on regular customer feedback. Ensure adherence to established processes and procedures by educating and informing customers, and internal stakeholders on best practices and requirements. 

  • Credit Support and Risk Management: Collaborate with the credit team to minimize credit risk by assisting with outstanding payments, resolving invoicing issues, and addressing local tax matters. Provide proactive support to sales and customers to ensure smooth financial operations. 

  • Organization and Communication Excellence: Utilize your strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks seamlessly, delivering outstanding customer experiences while supporting operational efficiency.

  • You hold a certificate of secondary education and have proven professional experience in a customer service role. 

  • You are fluent in Dutch, French, German, and English, meeting the language requirements of our international environment.  

  • You excel in both commercial communication and administrative procedures, ensuring effective follow-up and resolution. 

  • You are a highly organized multitasker who thrives in a dynamic environment. 

  • You have an inquisitive mindset, proactively seeking solutions and opportunities for improvement. 

  • You are a collaborative team player who remains composed and effective under pressure. 

  • You value working in a multicultural environment and adapt seamlessly to diverse cultural contexts. 

  • You are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
