An opportunity to play your part –  As Centrica’s SAP Functional Technology Lead for Warehousing and EWM, you’ll be the driving force behind designing and delivering the warehouse and logistics capabilities that power our modernised field and supply operations. This role puts you in the heart of our transformation—shaping efficient, accurate and well‑controlled processes within SAP EWM while ensuring everything integrates smoothly across the entire end‑to‑end supply chain. The Day to Day:

• This role is essential to maintaining momentum in the Supply Chain Transformation (SCT) programme, where rapid recruitment of SAP Functional Tech Leads is critical to delivering at pace.
• With Ana Woodrow now appointed as Head of Engineering and Unipart onboard as our technology partner, you will help establish the core functional leadership shaping Centrica’s new supply chain platform.
• You will own the end‑to‑end functional design and delivery of SAP EWM warehousing and logistics capabilities, ensuring modern, accurate and well‑controlled operational processes.
• You will play a key role in meeting ambitious programme timelines by providing early, decisive functional leadership and enabling timely design and integration decisions.
• You will build internal EWM capability from the outset, supporting the creation of persistent teams and a smooth transition to long‑term internal ownership of the platform.
• You will collaborate closely with operational SMEs and partner squads from Unipart and The Config Team (TCT) to drive fast, aligned and high‑quality technical delivery.
• You will ensure seamless interoperability across connected systems—including Corporate S/4HANA and the Field Platform—while providing strong functional ownership to reduce partner dependency and avoid rework.

What we need from you:

• Deep SAP EWM expertise across inbound, outbound, inventory management and warehouse execution, with the ability to turn operational complexity into smart, streamlined design.
• Proven experience implementing and running EWM in complex, high‑demand operational environments where accuracy, efficiency and control truly matter.
• Strong understanding of how EWM integrates with MM, SD, planning tools and wider execution systems, ensuring processes flow cleanly across the entire supply chain.
• A clear track record of delivering measurable improvements—whether that’s boosting inventory accuracy, increasing warehouse efficiency or tightening operational control.
• End‑to‑end SAP delivery experience across the full lifecycle, confidently owning solutions from design through build, test, cutover and hypercare.
