The Role
The Director, Liquid Alternative Instrument Readiness & Strategy is a member of the Fidelity Fund & Investment Operations (FFIO) Liquid Alternatives Team and is responsible for the onboarding of new alternative instruments into FFIO, coordinating work needed to support various Asset Manager investment paths. This role requires deep expertise of Alternative Instruments including (Swaps, Options, and Futures). The Director would be helping to define new service models and drive innovation in building scalable solutions to support the long-term growth of alternative instruments and reduce operational impact. This will involve documenting requirements with business partners on new instrument intake, working across FFIO to understand the current support model, identifying gaps, and working with service lines and business partners to develop scalable solutions in a timely manner. This role will work with other teams within FFIO as well as across the organization, collaborating with Asset Management, Legal, Risk, and Compliance on instrument readiness.

The Team
The Fidelity Fund & Investment Operations (FFIO) Liquid Alternatives team plays a vital role in ensuring that FFIO systems can support the full range of financial instruments used by Fidelity’s funds. Your contributions will help safeguard the accuracy of fund valuations, improve operational efficiency, and enable the successful launch of new investment products.
The base salary range for this position is $103,000-211,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
