General Area of Responsibility

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for completing payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices of all Caribbean markets

Specific Area of Responsibility

Your main tasks will be:

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded in all Caribbean markets.

• Updates accounts payable and perform reconciliations.

• Preparing wire transfers/checks request.

• Follow up to resolve issues with purchase order, invoice, receiving and other discrepancies and documentation.

• Assist with reviewing of expenses, as per request.

• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling statements and related transactions.

• Prepare tax forms of all Caribbean markets.

• Register petty cash transactions.

• Preform IC invoices to cross charges as needed.

• Complete assigned controls – RICC.

• Company credit card transactions.

• External audit support as per requirements.

• Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed.

Training and competencies

• More than 2 years of experience in similar positions, preferable.

• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

• Proficient in MS Office application.

• High energy with strong desire to achieve and proven capabilities of multi-tasking and working under pressure and deadlines.

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented personality.

• Ability to work in a global business environment and in a matrix organization.

• Fluent written and spoken Spanish & English, preferable.

• Safety environment awareness.
