We are currently searching for a R&D Engineer with background in computer vision, strong software development skills, especially in C++, to support implementation of computer vision, medical imaging and AI algorithms.

What will you be doing?

• (60%) Design and develop software to enable the integration of computer vision, medical imaging, and AI algorithms into computer‑assisted surgical applications.

• (25%) Contribute to research and development activities focused on novel computer vision, medical imaging, and AI algorithms under guidance from senior team members.

• (15%) Support operational activities such as material procurement, R&D lab organization and maintenance to ensure smooth day‑to‑day project execution.

What will you need to be successful?

• Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics Engineering or Computer Science

• Expertise in software development in C++

• Expertise in computer vision, medical imaging and/or Artificial Intelligence

• Knowledge in high-level language software development (e.g. Python)

• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and critical analysis skills

• Attention to detail, self-motivated and collaborative

• Passion for creating new, innovative, and ground-breaking solutions

• Passion for using cutting‑edge tools and technologies.

• Excellent organizational, documentation and written/verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
