As Program Manager, you will oversee the operations, maintenance and infrastructure of our expanding research facilities, including existing buildings and the new Cleveland Innovation District sites, to ensure safe, efficient and compliant operations that minimize disruption to research activities. Serving as the primary liaison among research, facilities and safety teams, this role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, space planning and centralized service contracts. You will also manage the research enterprise equipment inventory, track equipment maintenance through Nuvolo and conduct routine infrastructure assessments, such as monitoring RO systems and the medical gas room, ensuring ongoing facility integrity.

This position is essential to maintaining operational continuity and supporting the long-term strategic growth of our research enterprise.

A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Develop, implement, manage and maintain operational systems and activities.

  • Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization, including internal stakeholders, external partners, residents, directors and research, facilities and safety teams.

  • Coordinate maintenance activities, space planning and centralized service contracts.

  • Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines.

  • Allocate time to meet completion requirements.

  • Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

  • Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.

  • Oversee the operations, maintenance and infrastructure of expanding research facilities, including existing buildings and new Cleveland Innovation District sites.

  • Manage the research enterprise equipment inventory and track equipment maintenance through Nuvolo.

  • Conduct routine infrastructure assessments, including monitoring RO systems and the medical gas room, to ensure ongoing facility integrity.

  • Support operational continuity amid growing demands related to relocations, renovations, and space reorganizations.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field and two years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training

  • OR Associate’s Degree and four years of experience

  • OR Master’s Degree and one year of experience

  • OR High School Diploma / GED and six years of experience

  • Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Experience in healthcare setting 

  • Experience with Capital Management – finance & service contract

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
