Program Manager III—Program NCI Community Engagement  

Taussig Cancer Center is the hub for Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center. With locations throughout Northern Ohio and in Weston, Florida, Cleveland Clinic Cancer Center provides comprehensive care for patients with cancer. Our multidisciplinary cancer programs are designed to streamline care and improve patient outcomes. 


As a Program Manager, you will oversee and coordinate different related projects to ensure they benefit one another and meet business goals. This is a rewarding opportunity that offers growth-oriented projects, mentorship, support, and resources. You will experience great exposure to both the institute and department leadership and have numerous opportunities for career growth in different administrative and project/program management. 

 

A caregiver in this position traditionally works 8:00am—5:00pm. This role does work with the community and may work evenings and weekends based on events.  


A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Develop, implement, manage and maintain operational systems and activities. 

  • Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community. 

  • Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines. 

  • Allocate time to meet completion requirements. 

  • Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department. 

  • Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures. 

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field. 

  • Five years of related experience in healthcare setting or Master’s degree and four years of experience. 

 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  •  Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development. 

  • Strong presentation, communication and training skills required. 

  • Community outreach within the Ashtabula community.

  • Understanding of population health and gaps in access

  • Barriers to why members of the community don’t get screened.

  • Gaps in cancer screening rates

  • Barriers to access

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.  

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. 

  • Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.  

  • In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.  

  • In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.
