Intapp are looking for an enthusiastic individual for this position, as a SDET you’ll work in a key position and will make a real impact on the business by helping grow our test automation team and processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high quality software and engineering principles with strong analytic, problem solving and programming skills. You will bring a software engineer mindset by using best practices and appropriate design patterns to build software for testing; tools, frameworks, and automated tests.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate cross function with product managers, software architects, developers, and manual testers contributing to release planning and software design.
  • Have responsibility for the creation, design, and development of test automation frameworks.
  • Create test strategies, formulating and automating test case scenarios.
  • Teaching, coaching, mentoring others in automated testing best practices.
  • Creating and developing tooling to assist manual and automated testing.
  • Building and running tests as part of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Create test automation dashboards, reporting on metrics to drive release quality and continuous improvements.

What you will need: 

  • Software engineering experience in test automation, test tooling, and infrastructure.
  • Strong development background and experience in Agile methodologies, with proficiency in at least one common programming language (C#, Java, Python, JavaScript) along with HTML and CSS. 
  • An understanding of Azure & AWS is desirable.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of BDD and TDD. 
  • Experience of managing CI/CD pipelines and working with version control systems (e.g. Git).
  • Experience of load/stress/performance testing.
  • Proficient in scripting.
  • ISTQB/ISEB certification is desirable.
  • Organizational and time management skills to work across projects, proactively managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills to work in a collaborative environment and participate in stakeholder meetings.
