We’re looking for Talented Passionate Leaders with a proven record of delighting customers and growing sales. As a Manager in one of our stores, you will have an immediate impact on sales and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

  • You will complete self-directed development through online modules, on the job training, department specific practicums, projects and stretch sessions
  • Focusing on People, leadership, financials, customer experience and operations
  • Learn to anticipate the needs of our customers and put them first in all that you do
  • Learn to lead, coach and motivate colleagues to achieve success, enable a culture of selling and foster colleague growth
  • Show case your ability to be involved in community initiatives to build long-term relationships with the community
  • Learn to be committed to maintaining merchandising, operational standards and be accountable for financial objectives
  • Understand the day-to-day operations of the store
  • Create an action plans to address the root cause of opportunities in each department
  • Leverage your leanings to provide input to the Store Manager to help shape business strategy
  • Anticipate the needs of our customers and put them first in all that you do
  • Lead, coach and motivate colleagues to achieve success and foster colleague growth
  • Build sustainable long term relationships with the community
  • Be committed to maintaining merchandising, operational standards and be accountable for financial objectives
  • Work in collaboration with the Store Manager and District Manager to execute business plans


What you’ll need:

  • Exceptional customer service skills and a talent for building customer loyalty and community relationships
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the company’s purpose to live life well
  • Proven ability to improve productivity, engagement and retention
  • Experience managing store and/or department operations within the grocery industry
  • Commitment to delivering consistent results in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated an ability to communicate effectively to colleagues and customers
  • Exemplary behavior aligned to the company values
  • Strong financial acumen to deliver business results
  • Travel is required between multiple stores locations within West Coast/Central Newfoundland, occasional travel within the province as well
