As part of our marketing team, based in Falls Church, VA, you’ll collaborate with a talented, hands-on group of creative professionals dedicated to designing compelling and engaging brand experiences that resonate and drive growth.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

• Design high-impact campaign advertisements, collateral, and a variety of marketing materials, ensuring alignment with GDIT’s brand identity.
• Collaborate closely with the brand team to strategically shape and drive the visual direction of our brand.
• Develop and pitch innovative creative concepts, partnering with team members to execute forward-thinking marketing initiatives.
• Clearly and confidently articulate the reasoning behind your design decisions to stakeholders.
• Produce high-quality deliverables within tight deadlines while adeptly managing multiple priorities.
• Maintain exceptional quality control standards to ensure all finalized materials are error-free and meet expectations.
• Support various employee-facing projects and communications, elevating the internal branding experience.
• Stay informed on cutting-edge design trends and leverage best practices to deliver fresh and relevant creative solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Graphic Design Specialist must have:​

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
• Experience:  2+ years of relevant graphic design experience required
• A portfolio link showcasing your creative expertise (please embed your portfolio link in your resume submission).
• Location: Hybrid to Falls Church, Virginia office with the expectation of working 3 days per week in the office

SKILLS

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft platforms.
• Strong creative and analytical skills to approach design challenges with innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication abilities to effectively interface with team members and stakeholders.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills for navigating complex design assignments.
• A keen attention to detail, ensuring the delivery of polished and precise work.
• Proven ability to excel under tight deadlines with ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• If you have motion graphic experience or experience with Canva that is a plus but not required!

The likely salary range for this position is $61,402 - $80,040. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
