Job Description

Agilists at U.S. Bank are customer obsessed with a focus on serving product teams, ensuring all product vision, planning and development activities are rooted in Agile and Product Values & Principles. Agilists enable the organization to consistently experiment and evolve business strategy based on prior outcomes and feedback. They drive culture change through day to day to work with a focus on Agile & Product mindset, values and continuous improvement and keep the team focused on achieving product goals using agile methods.

This is an individual contributor role, responsible for medium complexity product feature (s) with unique expertise/skills.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Strong knowledge of Agile values, principles and practices

  • Demonstrated growth and curiosity mindset

  • Able to explain what Agile mindset means, what makes a great team and how both of those connect to the Agile Principles

  • Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, conflict resolution, and time management skills

  • Experience as a Scrum Master managing multiple teams simultaneously

  • Positive attitude and ability to inspire the team toward continuous improvement

  • Ability to work in ambiguity and rapidly iterate to a solution

  • Working knowledge of the system development lifecycle (SDLC) - design, development, test, and deployment

  • Understanding of the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development

  • Experience coaching and working with teams, product managers, and engineering leaders (lead through influence)

  • Ability to coach and guide teams through outcomes-based planning and value delivery  

  • Experience with co-located and distributed teams, in multiple time zones

  • Demonstrated ability to partner and communicate effectively with technical team

  • Creative, flexible, and willing to continuously change, evolve and improve processes

  • CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or PSM (Professional Scrum Master) certification a plus 

Location Expectations

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $98,175.00 - $115,500.00 - $127,050.00
