Leidos is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join the Homeland Sector FP&A team to support the Air Traffic and the Airports, Borders, and Security Business Areas. This role offers a great opportunity to grow within FP&A, expand your financial modeling, forecasting, and business-partnering skills while gaining exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional decision-makers. You’ll take on increasing ownership and visibility as you develop into a trusted finance partner. You will have opportunities to strengthen financial storytelling and presentation skills by translating complex analyses into clear, compelling insights for leadership and business partners. Primary responsibilities include financial planning, forecasting, reporting, data modeling, process improvement and decision support.

In this role, you can also expect to perform ad hoc financial analyses and special projects, responding to evolving business needs with speed and accuracy. This role partners closely with the BA FP&A leader and will work with cross-functional teams to provide analysis that informs planning and decision-making. This position is ideal for a finance professional with a strong analytical foundation who is ready to take on more ownership and broaden their impact.

This is a hybrid position with partial telework flexibility but you are expected to live within commuting distance from Reston - VA.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support the Air Traffic and Airports, Borders & Security Business Areas by providing financial reports, analysis, forecasting and other financial analysis support as needed
• Provide financial planning and forecasting, conduct transactional research, and support monthly closing
• Preparation of monthly financial packages
• Develop various financial reporting materials for business area and executive leadership which include presentation material for: monthly financial reporting, quarterly forecast updates, and annual planning reviews
• Analyze financial results to include conclusions and insights on trends and variances
• Work with Power BI tools and partner with data teams to drive automation and process efficiencies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting and 2+ years of experience related to financial planning and analysis.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong Analytical Abilities
• Excellent communication skills and detailed oriented
• US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with data science concepts, prompt engineering, or AI-enabled analytics platforms
• Experience with Leidos financial systems (Costpoint, Insight, OAC)
• Working knowledge of government accounting regulations (CAS, FAR, GAAP)

Pay Range:

Pay Range $59,150.00 - $106,925.00
