Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the creation, update, maintenance, deletion, and delivery of master data while ensuring that it is consistent and trustworthy. Each day, you will provide support for master data management processes. This position is responsible for correct categorization of materials in the plant and ensure proper master data set up for products. They review engineering releases and change requirements. They coordinate the accuracy of the information on the different materials to be used by all plant departments

This role supports the Electrification team in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon by ensuring accurate data management to support demand forecasting, production planning, and material availability. It involves close coordination with supply chain, procurement, and operations teams.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Ensuring that master data integrity, cleansing, normalization, and quality is maintained efficiently and accurately in all systems within scope of responsibility. Ensure material data integrity.
• Material Master Data parametrization based on business processes.
• Coordinate with different areas the material creation for logistic purposes within the ERP. Work with operations and purchasing to ensure data accuracy.
• Ability to interpret drawings.
• SAP knowledge.
• Experience reading BOM’s and Routings
• MRP basic understanding.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• Relevant experience in ERP usage (SAP desired)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software is a plus
• Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Advanced English level
