Business Lending Property Finance Strategy & Research team is responsible for analysing, researching, and setting strategies and business direction for commercial property lending at Business Banking. The team also provides ongoing commercial property portfolio oversight and reporting. 

This is a secondment opportunity until November 2025.

Your day could look like, but not limited to:

• Analyse, research, and recommend strategies and business direction for commercial property lending in Business Banking.
• Facilitate tailored analytics with concise reporting from large and complex data-sets to meet numerous reporting requirements.
• Plan and execute the creation of large and complex property lending portfolio and market data sets.
• Produce clear visual representations of large amounts of data and information from various sources.
• Assist with preparation of commercial property and construction strategy and risk committee papers.
• Assist with development of business strategies which improve the level of analysis, reporting and market insight.
• Develop and maintain strong relationship with business partners to progress and implement initiatives to drive performance.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

• Have advanced Excel skills.
• Have previous experience in an analyst role, ideally in a financial or property institution.
• Have ability to understand stakeholders needs/expectations and customise reports and analysis accordingly.
• Understand the property industry
• Possess long and short term planning skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
• Have sound communication skills.
• Be tertiary qualified (or equivalent) in a finance/property/analytics discipline.
