Salary: $20.00 Hourly

Summary:

The internship would be a minimum of 20 hours per week with a maximum of 40 hours per week for up to 12 weeks.

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented summer Intern to support our Budget & Finance team and Field Operations department. This role provides hands‑on experience in administrative functions, financial processes, and operational support. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Maintain and update the contract database
  • Monitor and track upcoming contract expirations
  • Create and maintain an Excel file containing key data for Field Operations contracts
  • Assist with the closure of old purchase orders
  • Help creating new purchase orders
  • Support budget analysis tasks, including data review and basic reporting
  • Develop templates, forms, or tools to assist Field Operations employees
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline documentation and processes

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of financial or administrative processes (helpful but not required)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Interest in finance, business administration, or public sector operations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least a sophomore pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field at an accredited university.
  • Must provide own means of transportation to and from the job site.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
