Job Summary:

SBMA is currently seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join our team. Qualified candidates will possess self-motivation, the ability to pay close attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Bank account reconciliations

· Other finance and accounting duties as assigned by CFO/Controller

· Assist CFO with monthly processing of broker commissions

· Ensure integrity and quality of documentation involving SOX controls, testing and results

Required Skills:

· Bachelor’s in accounting or a related field

· 3-5 years of accounting experience (bank recs a must), SOX experience a plus but not required.

· Good understanding of accounting principles

· Ability to perform simple accounting procedures

· Knowledge of cash management principles and/or procedures.

· Basic data entry and/or word processing skills.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Access, Outlook, and Word

· Tech Savvy and ability to learn new systems quickly.

· Ability to communicate/work effectively with team and management.

· Ability to maintain detailed, accurate records.

· Ability to work with a large volume of numbers accurately and efficiently.

· Good critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish a variety of tasks or demands.

· Ability to manage projects and complete tasks by meeting timelines and goals.

· Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software.

· Business Central experience a plus

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
