What you will do

Our next leader possesses a deep understanding of the Building Management System industry, BMS project lifecycles, and the stakeholders involved at every stage.
The Senior Product Manager is in tune with industry's evolution and transformations, particularly through no-code programming and integrations, data journey, and value network through XaaS, both from technology and business perspective. You will serve as the catalyst and champion of innovation, driving concise value to ensure its continuous integration and coordination within the Controls portfolio, from feature to solution and from product to system fueling both our transactional and re-occurring revenue growth.
To be successful in this role, you must be pragmatic, a master in change management capable of leveraging key enabling building blocks to iteratively unlock value with each release while paving the path towards heroic launches setting stage for mass-adoption. How you will do it
Guide portfolio evolution through its digital transformation across integration technologies and data journey enabling solutions and lifecycle services.
Close collaboration with Platform Product Management assessing Engineering and Provisioning Tools driving toolset evolution and convergence towards a unique value proposition.
Review and assessment of software licensing platform workflows with focus on simplification, optimization and enhancements supporting evergreen licensing with backend ERP integrations.
Propose investment in platforms, product lines, M&A and/or strategic software partnerships.
Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners achieved through product strategy documents that describe business cases (i.e. monetization / Business impact), use cases, workflows, revenue or efficiency impact, and ROI.
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and development by engineering teams.
Develop product positioning and messaging to support key features and differentiation in the market.
Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.
Analyze market data to develop sales strategies and define product objectives for effective marketing communications.
Closely collaborate with Engineering team to drive the execution of product roadmaps in Agile manner.
What you need
Practical experience working in a Software and hardware environment, with experience in deploying complex software solutions with a wide range of dependencies and integrations.
Good knowledge of RESTful standards, web API's, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google) and Enterprise security (IPSec, SSL/TLS, firewalls, certificates, key management).
Knowledge of no-code, low code programming editors to support IoT platforms, APIs and integrations.
Excellent knowledge of hosted, on-prem and hybrid architecture as well as a strong business sense to identify and articulate value materializing at each level to assure business viability at every level.
Familiar with data modeling and semantic tagging frameworks such as Haystack and Bricks.
Embraces a collaborative, team-oriented approach, serving as a role model and exemplifying strong personal leadership.
Energetic and dynamic professional, passionately fostering trust and collaboration.
Strong capacity to foster collaboration & networking, work transversally across the organization, is structured with good attention to detail.
An excellent communicator capable of capturing and presenting complex topics to various audience from technical to C-Suite.
Required
BS or MS in Engineering or Computer Science - MBA preferred.
10+ Years of experience in Product Management and Smart Building or IoT or MSI.
Good knowledge and practical experience in building automation and energy management systems, enterprise systems and systems integration.
In a regular year, you must be open to travel at least once a quarter.
