COMMERCIAL INSIGHTS MANAGER – PRIMARY MARKET RESEARCH

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering primary market research and insights into Amgen’s US brands in Inflammation, Cardiovascular, Oncology and Rare Disease Business Units. You will lead an insights generation team of 3x primary market researchers executing Amgen US tracking studies.

Responsibilities will include:

• Lead brand insights activities, including planning support, performance monitoring, and strategic updates.
• Integrate and communicate brand performance insights across business units and inline brands.
• Partner with CD&A to align research efforts and deliver cohesive, data-driven recommendations.
• Act as a strategic advisor and challenge assumptions to strengthen decision-making.
• Enhance team capabilities by adopting new research tools and methodologies.
• Translate primary market research into actionable insights that influence strategy.
• Ensure all projects meet Amgen SOPs, quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners and external vendors to prioritize business needs and drive effective insights generation. (Global Marketing, Sales Ops, Global Strategic Sourcing, and Compliance)

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

Our ideal candidate is collaborative, team-oriented, curious, innovative and a strategic problem solver with strong project management skills.

• 5+ years of experience in pharma/biotech market research, analytics, consulting, or related field.
• University Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, healthcare or related.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into strategic insights and recommendations.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and strong oral/written communication skills in English.
• Previous stakeholder and vendor management experience as well as mentoring or people leadership experience.
• Previous experience establishing credibility with and influencing senior leadership (ED/VP level staff).
