 We are seeking a Manager, IT Audit with significant expertise in IT auditing to join eBay’s Global Internal Audit group located in Bengaluru, India.  This position is hybrid, requiring physical attendance at least three days each week.

 

In this role, you will lead the execution of information technology audits across eBay Inc.  You will collaborate with global audit team members and stakeholders across different time zones. Your work includes performing control testing, identifying control gaps and business risks, and contributing to meaningful, outcome-focused audit results.

 

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Internal Audit and plays a key role in strengthening audit execution and collaboration across our global Internal Audit organization.

The ideal candidate is analytical, diligent, and collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership and a desire to contribute beyond meeting requirements.

 

What you will accomplish:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of technology audit program, ensuring the audit scope, approach, and testing, are carefully crafted to align with the Internal Audit methodology and risk priorities.

  • Review and challenge testing results to ensure conclusions are well-supported and risks are fully assessed.

  • Coordinate and manage regional audit teams to drive timely and consistent execution of audit engagements.

  • Refine, prioritize, and confirm audit issues and recommendations to ensure they are practical, risk-based, and aligned with business objectives.

  • Review and approve audit documentation and findings for quality, consistency, and clarity.

  • Proactively identify and resolve coordination or execution issues that may impact timelines or quality.

  • Lead the development and finalization of audit reports, ensuring messaging is balanced, executive-ready, and clearly communicates risk and value.

  • Facilitate issue tracking, validation of remediation, and timely closure of audit findings.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of audit processes and find opportunities to improve audit efficiency and value to the organization.

 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in technology audits, compliance, and/or risk management with a solid background in internal controls.

  • Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent strongly preferred.

  • Deep knowledge of business processes and internal controls, coupled with the skill to detect control gaps and chances to improve operations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical, solutions-oriented approach.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate audit results to diverse collaborators across functions, regions, and levels (including senior management).

  • Proven ability to manage multiple audit assignments and priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.

  • Proactive, outcome-focused, and collaborative working style, with a strong focus on quality and accountability.

  • High attention to detail and dedication to accuracy.

  • Ability to travel occasionally, as business needs require.
