We’re looking for a Lead Software Developer to join our team, reporting to Director - Software Engineering. In this role, you’ll help shape how we build and evolve real‑time, mission‑critical low latency systems

You’ll fit right in if you’re meticulous, highly skilled in object‑oriented programming, and experienced in low‑latency architectures and communication protocols. You should enjoy working across multiple components of a complex system, collaborating with a cross‑functional team, and tackling technical challenges that push the boundaries of performance and reliability.

What You’ll Do

  • design, implement, and optimize new system features with a strong focus on performance and reliability
  • Actively contribute to architectural and design discussions
  • Deliver immediate value as an integrated member of the development team
  • Document new features and create clear test scenarios for QA, production support, and other stakeholders
  • Analyze system behavior and data to identify, diagnose, and resolve potential issues

What You’ll Bring

  • Master’s degree or dual‑degree qualification in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Expert experience developing in Java for low‑latency or real‑time systems
  • Hands‑on experience with communication protocols and latency‑sensitive architectures
  • Proven track record working on complex, distributed information systems
  • Strong Linux experience
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), including managed services for compute, storage, and networking
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration using Kubernetes

This position will be located in Stockholm and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
