Roles and Responsibilities
•    Simulate internal flows in Electric Drive system using CFD simulation tools.
•    Provide design improvements/optimization ideas based on simulation results
•    Support development of flow/heat transfer models in systems modeling software such as Simulink.
•    Continually Improve CFD modeling and analysis methods to improve correlation with physical test results .
•    Work independently as well as a part of global cross functional team with and proficiently communicate technical information for successful collaboration.

Must have skills
•    Strong fluid flow and heat transfer fundamentals
•    Hands on experience with flow and heat transfer simulations using CFD Software like Ansys Fluent, StarCCM+ and others
•    Strong capability in interpretation of simulation results and suggesting design improvements.
•    Creation of reduced order models for thermal simulation and prediction
•    Specify or perform engineering analysis of complex scope with limited to no supervision.
•    Good communications and interpersonal skills for working in global cross functional team

Educational Qualification/ Professional Experience: 

•    Bachelor's degree (7 + Yrs.) or master Degree (5 + Yrs.) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
•    Prior experience in simulation of different Motors & Generators 
•    Work experience on electrical components such as inverter and bus bars will be an added advantage
•    Exposure to multiphase flow simulations
•    Hands on Experience with Ansys Fluent, MotorCAD , Matlab, Simulink software 
•    Understanding of Different motor technology and its different cooling methods
•    Enthusiastic to explore and develop new technology leveraging publication, journals, and university collaboration projects.

Relocation is available for this position.
