✨ What You’ll Do
- Running, maintaining, and evolving the fuzz testing framework; leveraging AI to improve the testing toolset.
- Successfully applying SEI Cert recommendations to Connext, proposing improvements and updates to RTI's Secure Coding Guidelines.
- Discovering and resolving software vulnerabilities in the product; assisting the development team to assess vulnerabilities.
- Working with the development teams to strengthen RTI cloud-based solutions.
- Developing pen-testing and dynamic security scanner strategies.
- Exploring and helping develop new security-focused testing techniques.
- Participating in architecture reviews for the overall product.
- Proposing improvements to RTI's vulnerability management and notification process.
🎯 What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 3-6 years of experience as a software engineer, demonstrating ability to learn quickly, effectiveness in a large variety of technologies, and interest in focusing those skills on security-related problems.
- Experienced cybersecurity analyst (through industry experience, internships, university projects, open-source projects, etc.).
- Experience with resolving software vulnerabilities and implementing security solutions: e.g., authentication, integrity, confidentiality, and non-repudiation, particularly, cloud-based solutions.
- Excellent debugging skills in a wide variety of technologies, networking protocols, operating systems, and programming languages.
- Passion for learning and implementing industry best practices for cybersecurity and state of the art technologies.
