Job Description: IBM Datapower We are seeking a skilled IBM DataPower Engineer to join our dynamic Accenture Security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting IBM DataPower Gateway solutions to facilitate secure integration and delivery of services across multiple platforms and environments. The IBM DataPower Engineer will work closely with our clients and internal teams to understand business requirements, design scalable solutions, and ensure the reliability and performance of DataPower infrastructure. Responsibilities: • Design, deploy, and maintain IBM DataPower Gateway appliances to provide secure integration and delivery of services across enterprise systems and cloud environments. • Develop and implement DataPower configurations, policies, and services to support business requirements for message routing, transformation, and security. • Collaborate with application developers, architects, and system administrators to integrate applications with DataPower Gateway and optimize performance. • Configure and manage DataPower security features, including SSL/TLS encryption, authentication, authorization, and auditing. • Monitor DataPower infrastructure for performance, availability, and security threats, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with security policies. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DataPower configurations, connectivity, and performance in collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for DataPower administration and configuration management. • Stay up-to-date with the latest IBM DataPower technologies, features, and best practices to continuously improve DataPower infrastructure and capabilities. • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and assist with knowledge sharing and training initiatives. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience working as an IBM DataPower Engineer or a similar role in a large-scale enterprise environment. • In-depth knowledge of IBM DataPower Gateway architecture, configuration, and administration. • Hands-on experience with IBM DataPower CLI, WebGUI, and XML management interface. • Strong understanding of web services, SOAP, REST, and JSON/XML data formats. • Experience with security protocols and standards, including SSL/TLS, OAuth, SAML, and LDAP. • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Bash, Perl, Python, or PowerShell. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Relevant certifications, such as IBM Certified Solution Developer – WebSphere DataPower, are a plus. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
