Job Summary

Performs a wide variety of electromechanical production subassembly and assembly operations of a semi-skilled nature to disassemble and assemble difficult and complex units in a repetitive environment.

Essential Functions
  • Disassembles, modifies, reworks, refurbishes and tests units as required.
  • Identify and selects components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units
  • Operate basic electronic test equipment such as volt meters Hipot and leakage
  • Assembles and/ or installs various electrical and/or mechanical components where operations and sequences are specified by established documentation.
  • May perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly such as cutting wire to specified size, stripping, tinning, or bending wire parts, wiring, and fastening terminal connections.
  • Set up and operates automatic and semiautomatic assembly equipment Provide training for less senior staff

Required/Preferred Education and Experience
  • High School Trade School Graduate or equivalent required
  • Generally, at least 3 years of related experience required and
  • QSR experience a plus preferred
  • IPC Soldering Certification a plus Preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Must be able to read and understand assembly documentation, blueprints and/or wire lists.
  • Must be able to use small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers.
  • Must be familiar with general computer operation.

Preferred Languages
  • English - Intermediate

Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds
