About the Role

The Manager of digital security team has the responsibility and authority for leading all operational activities of Network Security.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Acquire a complete understanding of a company’s technology and information systems.
• Technical review of firewall, proxy, WAF, IPS documents and work with the vendor on maintaining the design and operational documents are up to date.
• Should have a deep understanding of proxy/ Secure Access Service Edge solutions.
• Expertise in implementing and managing WAF solutions to protect web applications from cyber threats.
• The role involves providing technical guidance, support, and leadership in designing, implementing, and maintaining Proxy and WAF solutions to ensure the security and integrity of our organization's network infrastructure and web applications.
• Serve as the primary technical expert for Firewall, Proxy and WAF solutions, providing guidance and support to internal teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and configure various solutions such as proxy, WAF etc according to business requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing network security architecture and web application infrastructure to identify the security enhancement opportunities.
• Act as a liaison between the organization and vendor technical support teams, escalating and managing technical issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Stay current with emerging trends, threats, and technologies in network security and web application protection, continuously enhancing expertise and driving innovation in security solutions.
• Drive vendors and assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in working with network security related projects
• In-depth knowledge of network security (Firewall, IPS, VPN, DLP, Proxy, WAF) in enterprise and cloud environment.
• Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, authentication systems, log management, content filtering & internet proxy and WAF.
• Experience with network technologies and with cloud computing, security, and network monitoring tools
• Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
• Deep understanding on web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols
• Knowledge of best security practices and security benchmarks
• A thoughtful teammate and good interpersonal skill
• Hard-working person with thoughtful demeanour.
