About this role
The Senior Medical Manager is a part of North America (US) Medical Neuropsychiatry team, a strategic partner within Biogen, that helps inform medical practice across our therapeutic areas and pipeline to improve meaningful patient outcomes. As a key member of the US Neuropsychiatry Medical Director office team this position will report to a Neuropsychiatry Medical Director. The Senior Manager – Neuropsychiatry will collaborate closely with the Medical Director office and Field Team to coordinate and execute the Neuropsychiatry key medical strategies and tactics.

What You Will Do
Be a credible/medical scientific expert who is accountable as the secondary NP representative and process driver that reviews and coordinates submissions for both the Joint Biogen/Supernus Commercial Promotional (JPRC) and Scientific (non-promotional) Material Review (JMRC) Committees to ensure consistency of therapeutic area content and communication per established standards.
Engage with cross-functional partners (Legal/Compliance, Regulatory Affairs and Commercial) from the US Medical perspective to ensure content is medically sound, compliant, adequately referenced and aligned with medical strategy.
Coordinate and liaise with Supernus Medical team partners to ensure medical communication, training and initiatives are aligned.
Coordinate & implement initiatives around Congresses and VoKOL processes as directed by Biogen NP Medical Directors and aligned across the Supernus/Biogen Alliance.

You are a scientific or clinical professional with a passion for science and deep scientific knowledge. You have a talent for paying attention to details and enjoy supporting activities around content development for internal and external resources i.e., Congresses, actionable insights, presentations, medical training, medical and promotional materials. You keep patients, payers, and physicians top of mind in your daily work and collaborate to solve critical scientific and business challenges.
Required skills
PharmD, PhD, MD, DNP, or other advanced degree in the life sciences.
Minimum two years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Relevant experience with regulatory review processes in Medical Affairs is desired.
Excellent communication (written and oral), including presentation skills.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively operate and influence within a highly matrixed organization.
Solid project management skills to include the ability to take initiative to solve complex and challenging problems.
Preferred and Therapeutic Area Skills
Clinical experience as a subject matter expert in the respective area is optimal.
Previous work in medical communications &/or medical information.
Experience with Psychiatry/Neuropsychiatry is a plus.

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
