Your Role
Maximising the overall performance of the Service Line by,
- Achieving the agreed yearly revenue and profit targets,
- Formulating and executing short to long-term service line strategy,
- Ensuring client satisfaction and sustainable revenue and profit growth,
- Implementing innovative solutions effectively,
- Executing the project and driving operational excellence and digital transformation,
- Managing development, appraisals, talent identification and succession planning for diverse staff, and
- Creating business cases to transform and expand the geotechnical business in APAC.
Key objective
- Associate with Group Director, Regional Business Line Director and Global Directors for strategies planning, key client relations and CAPEX decisions,
- Foster employee engagement across all levels to enhance productivity and performances in alignment with company’s core values,
- Collaborate activities with other regions and Service Lines to leverage expertise,
- Ensure optimal deployment of people and resources,
- Improve the company’s market share in the APAC region,
- Promote and embrace a culture of change, driving high performance teams through active management of Delivery Excellence,
- Engage in the training and periodic evaluation of the Service Line team and encourage the individual development of each employee,
- Accountable for the annual strategic and financial planning of the Service Line, enforcing and surpassing the established goals,
- Foster innovation and implement initiatives in the region that support the overall objectives of the company,
- Define best practices and oversee their implementations,
- Collaborate with Business Development, Sales and Marketing and Country Managers to gather local insights and build a value-driven account management model to strengthen key account relationships, and
- Develop a high-performing commercial team that emphasizes commercial excellence and value creation.
Your Track Record
- Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering preferred. Having business administration and financial management training is a plus.
- A seasoned business leader with a minimum of 15 years’ experience, including at least 8 years in managerial position.
- Proven ability to formulate short-term and long-term business strategies.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and people management skills and able to manage stakeholders from all levels.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English; Chinese proficiency is a plus.
- HKIE (Geotechnical Discipline) and / or MICE is advantageous.
