We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Architect to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital architecture, cloud technologies, and experience in delivering scalable and secure digital platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent technical and leadership skills, capable of driving innovation and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Design and Strategy:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive digital architecture strategy aligned with business goals.

  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance digital solutions, including web and mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, and data analytics platforms.

  • Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and tools to meet business requirements.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor a team of architects and developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and business stakeholders, to define and prioritise digital initiatives.

  • Act as a technical advisor to senior management, providing insights and recommendations on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Technical Oversight and Governance:

  • Establish and enforce architectural best practices, standards, and guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements in all digital solutions.

  • Oversee the technical implementation of projects, including code reviews, performance optimisation, and troubleshooting.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive the adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance the digital experience.

  • Monitor and assess the performance of digital solutions, identifying opportunities for optimisation and enhancement.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into the organisation's digital roadmap

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience in digital architecture, software development, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance digital solutions.

  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), microservices architecture, and API management.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, infrastructure as code).

  • Certification in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
