Your Mission

As a Process Engineer, you lead and support technical activities linked to the industrial process within the plant (physical and information flows).

You interact with the different departments at both plant and group levels, and with external partners and suppliers, to ensure that the process at the plant respects the requirements and achieves the expected goals in terms of safety, quality, productivity, and costs.

Your Responsibilities

Technological leadership

In coordination with the Group Manufacturing & Innovation department:

  • Attends engineering and technology fairs and congresses in the area, as input for potential new ideas.
  • Keeps contact with suppliers and partners to monitor ongoing and future developments and technology trends.
  • Supports the Group Manufacturing & Innovation department during technical discussion/negotiation with suppliers, concerning new developments.

Projects

  • Cooperates intensively with suppliers and partners to reach the project targets, in conjunction with the relevant Group departments and the local team.
  • Participates in the definition of BoR (hardware and software related) of new industrial investments for the plant.
  • Supports the pre-acceptance, installation, commissioning, reception, and acceptance of new industrial solutions at the plant.

Technical support

Provides the proper technical support and assistance to the Production and Maintenance team on:

  • Interventions on industrial equipment and software, like repairs, programming, modifications, e.g.
  • Action plan related to KPIs targets and potential deviations.
  • Parametrization of assembly and sequencing equipment in cooperation with Quality and Supply Chain.
  • Training of local teams about relevant aspects of industrial processes.
  • Compliance with group procedures and requirements within his/her area of responsibility.
  • In coordination with the Group IT department: development, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems related to industrial processes like ERP, MES, and Sequencing Software.
  • Root cause analysis on internal or customer incidents linked to the process (wrong data sent to the customer, e.g.).
  • Supports data acquisition from the industrial process and KPI definition, reporting, and analysis.

Your Profile

  • You have at least 3 years in a leading technical position within a serial production company, preferably from the automotive sector and Tire 1 supplier.
  • You have a technical background/education.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
  • Automatization and Robotics.
  • IATF 16949 principles
  • ERP/MES/CMMS knowledge
  • Fluent in the local language.
  • Fluent in English.
