General Description:

The role of the Digital Platforms Consultant for MCBL is to serve as the subject matter expert in proper utilization of the sales tools. The incumbent shall ensure that the Leads and Sales Fulfillment Platforms remain relevant and useful to its end-users. He/She is expected to work closely with MCBL and Manulife Philippines colleagues as well as counterparts in China Bank to increase adoption of the tools for a more seamless and efficient day to day transactions to improve internal and external customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the platform expert and shall monitor utilization and adoption of the tools assigned
  • Attend regular cadence with platform owners/workstreams to align on initiatives &  enhancements
  • Create a roadmap on what system/platform enhancements need to be done and closely monitor progress
  • Work closely with Sales, IT, QA and other stakeholders on business requirements and user stories
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing for new builds and system improvements
  • Regularly seek feedback on platform experience from users and spearhead initiatives to increase take-up /utilization/adoption.
  • Prepare reports, communicate and present key insights, initiatives, and results to stakeholders to show overall progress on digital leads management and sales fulfillment platforms
  • Collaborate with regional and global colleagues to learn best practices and adapt digital solutions implemented in other Manulife markets
  • Continuously monitor and communicate industry and competitive trends in digital enablement, particularly for bancassurance and be an advocate for digital enablement across the MCBL

Experiences and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Holder with at least 5 years relevant experience, preferably in insurance, banking and / or fintech.
  • Project management experience, preferably with digital and technology initiatives
  • Human Centered Design (HCD) and Agile experience would be an advantage
  • Insurance industry experience is preferred but not required
  • Data driven in making decisions and crafting strategies to rollout digital initiatives
  • Must have very strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
