We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for our Monroe, WI facility, which produces liquid carbon dioxide.
The Site Supervisor position will support all aspects of the day-to-day plant & terminal operations. This will include customer interface, business interface, safety and environmental compliance, maintenance budgeting, as well as employee training.
This role will require the successful candidate to gain an understanding of all aspects of the site’s operation, distribution, and maintenance activities, with specific areas of focus on leadership skills as a front-line supervisor. Effective communication skills and strong organizational skills are essential.

Required Skills / Abilities:
Management of the site’s Basic Safety Process and Process Safety Management with a focus on the company’s efforts to drive to a goal of 0 safety incidents.
Ensuring Environmental compliance in accordance with Air Products Corporate and Governmental Regulations.
Understanding safe operating, design, and permit limits.
Supporting all aspects of the day-to-day operations to include troubleshooting plant process problems, supervising daily plant activities, and managing plant projects.
Identifying maintenance concerns; then developing and implementing corrective measures with the maintenance team as well as carrying out site preventive maintenance and mechanical integrity programs.
Interfacing with the source ethanol plant, customers, and the Air Products commercial team.
Implementing and sharing best practices.
Investigating incidents and near misses which includes understanding and correcting the root cause of failures.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Supporting all aspects of the day-to-day operation and maintenance activity for drivers including DOT driver logs, driver safety meetings, driver observations, and coordination of fleet maintenance activities.
Supporting all aspects of the day-to-day operations to include troubleshooting plant process problems, supervising daily plant activities, and managing plant projects.
Identify and develop talent while promoting teamwork.
Drive the site towards operational excellence.
Display clear communication with employees.
Demonstrate effective management of workload, and respectful communication with the support teams.
Effective management of workload.
Ability to understand the larger picture and consider the implications of decisions.
Providing vacation relief for process operator and assuring plant coverage when issues arise. (Position will require on-call responsibilities and weekend coverage every other week.)
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
5+ years of relevant operations and maintenance experience in an industrial plant is required.
A degree in engineering or a technical field is preferred but is not required.
Military experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
A self-starter with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to develop talent.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Strong administrative and computer skills.
A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.
