This position is to provide HUD GAE with enhanced support to address the additional workload required to deliver no-code/low-code development solutions, strengthen the IT governance procedures through the facilitation and management of the Technical Review Sub-Committee (TRC) and the Configuration Change Management Board (CCMB) and provide oversite operational stability and enhanced capabilities to the EDM system.

White Pine Innovations is seeking a Systems Administrator II – Informatica to provide engineering, operations and maintenance services for Enterprise Applications deployed using legacy and no code / low code platforms that the OCTO is responsible for managing. This position is a remote position. This is a full-time employment opportunity, and the candidate MUST be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident and must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and administer Informatica environment and try to ensure 98% uptime with optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with federal staff on daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks.
  • Perform user management administration, including creating users, roles and assigning privileges for project teams.
  • Upgrade Informatica repository environments as new versions are released. Troubleshoot errors and work with product teams to resolve the issues.
  • Create and maintain database connections from Informatica products including Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle, Mainframe, DB2.
  • Write Linux scripts for Informatica administration tasks.
  • Perform daily/weekly/annual Informatica repository backups by project.
  • Configure new product repositories as new projects are on-boarded to Informatica.
  • Work with Informatica support for Informatica product related issues.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, as mandated by our government client.
  • Must be able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation.
  • 5+ years of experience with Informatica. PowerCenter and IDQ development. enterprise class workload automation tool and systems integration.
  • Experience with Enterprise class managed file transfer tool.
  • Experience with ITIL.
  • Experience with Shell scripting.
  • Experience with organizations that place a strong emphasis on security.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline.
