Job Description

We are seeking an Operational Technology Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves integrating various operational technologies to enhance our systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of PLCs and ladder logic, some maintenance or automation experience, and proficiency in writing code. The successful candidate will be expected to thrive in situations where problem solving difficult data transforms and adapting to changing data sources is a daily exercise. This candidate will also need to be comfortable as a customer facing individual, you will need to be able to read the room and understand tone to extract accurate expectations and requirements to deliver accurate and realistic outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Technology Integration:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain operational technology integrations that optimize performance and efficiency and enable our customers to track and use data in their CMMS like never before.
  • PLC and Ladder Logic Understanding:
    Utilize basic knowledge of PLC systems and ladder logic to troubleshoot and support existing automated processes and assist our customers with decisions related to OT data that can drive maintenance actions, populate maintenance KPI’s and populate AI models.
  • Maintenance Knowledge:
    Having a basic understanding of common maintenance practices, KPI’s and routines is a benefit.
  • Integration/ETL Development:
    Write and maintain code in C# or JavaScript to support integration projects and enhance system functionalities.
  • Documentation:
    Create and maintain technical documentation for integration processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with engineering, IT, maintenance and operations teams to identify and resolve challenges.
  • Training and Support:
    Provide training and support to team members on operational technology tools and integrations.

The Essentials - You will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Ability to travel between up to 30% of the time. 
  • Valid Driver's license

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • 3 years' experience in operational technology and integration.
  • Minimum 3 years proficiency in C# or JavaScript for software development.
  • Minimum 3 years' operational technology systems and integration processes experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with additional programming languages or frameworks.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, CIP, REST, MQTT).
