The Principal Enterprise Systems role is a senior technical leadership position responsible for the design, delivery, and ongoing optimization of enterprise platforms such as CRM, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and forecasting solutions.

This role partners closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and leadership to ensure enterprise systems effectively support business processes, scale globally, and meet organizational and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as the technical and process expert for assigned enterprise systems, including CRM, QMS, and forecasting platforms.

  • Partner with business stakeholders and leadership to define requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions.

  • Define, document, and align business processes to approved enterprise system standards and protocols.

  • Evaluate and align new system requests or enhancements with existing enterprise architecture and governance.

  • Support enterprise system planning, including roadmaps, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate with IT, business teams, and stakeholders to plan and execute system implementations and upgrades.

  • Manage priorities across multiple initiatives with competing timelines and dependencies.

  • Support enterprise systems in a global, geographically distributed environment.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues clearly to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Support resolution of complex system issues, coordinating with vendors and internal teams as needed.

  • Ensure enterprise systems are operated in compliance with licensing and usage requirements.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, supporting skill development and knowledge sharing.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or a related field

  • 5+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree

  • 10+ years of experience working with Salesforce and/or other enterprise SaaS platforms (CRM, QMS, forecasting solutions).

  • Industry-recognized expertise or certifications in enterprise systems is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and system implementation methodologies.

  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize competing requests.

  • Experience supporting complex, distributed enterprise applications and multiple vendors.

  • Demonstrated curiosity and continuous learning mindset around emerging technologies.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Previous experience working with or supporting professional services teams is a plus.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.

  • Willingness to support occasional domestic or international travel as required.
